patPat Cooper - My name is Pat Cooper. I was a senior Human Resources manager for a large multi national Company in the IT industry. It was a well paid professional job and I'd been in that business for 35 years. I was just coasting to retirement - the job wasnt challenging me any longer and I'd reached the limit as far as any career prosects were concerned.

I found herbalife on the internet quite by accident. I wasnt looking for a business for myself, but it seemed like something my 20 year old son might be able to do to earn an extra income. When I found out it was to do with health and weight loss, I decided to buy a business pack so that I could lose weight and I thought that if I could earn a little extra money for holidays, that would be a bonus. What happened was rather different. The weight dropped off really easily - 3 dress sizes and 2 stone, I was so energetic I was racing round the office and all my work colleagues wanted to know what I was doing so they could feel the same. So without really trying I found myself making £300 profit in my second month.

For the next 18 months I carried on just spending 5 or 6 hours a week on my buisness and making £500 a month. Gradually I realised that my priorities were changing and that i really wanted to spend my time on my herbalife business where I was having fun helping people, and not in my day job which incidentally had involved dealing with redundancies for year after year, which is soul destroying. So when the chance came to be made redundant i welcomed it and now work on my business full time. I now earn £1500 per month and am growing that income all the time.

The training is the best I've ever had, and as an ex HR person, believe me I have been on many training courses over the years. Herbalife training both from my sponsor and from local and national meetings has been practical , informative and inspirational.

The international training is just amazing. You hear from top speakers in the Company and hear at first hand how to develop both yourself and your business. The benefits to date for me have been more personal growth in self confidence and a 101 other aspects than I would ever have thought possible at my age.

Add to that the fact I no longer have to commute on the tube for 2 hours a day, and I dont have to work at the whim of a succession of bosses, or to undergo Company take overs and re-organisations where you are never sure that you are going to have a job when the music stops. These days I can make my own decisions, and best of all i really enjoy what I do - I can make a difference in people's lives, helping them to improve their health or their finances, and I have the added bonus of feeling energetic and healthy all the time. The future looks good to me. Im looking forward to growing my business and to know that in 2 years time when I reach 60 I shall be financially secure, not worrying about my pension.
